The above chart shows the spills within the Berwick-upon-Tweed catchment in the last 5 years. It includes all four recieving waterbodies - Bathing Water, Fresh Water, Other Transitional Water and Shellfisheries. As shown in the chart after a bad year in 2014 the catchment showed some improvement before a high number of spills being recorded in 2017, but again improving in 2018.
